No Fuss Lasagna

No-Fuss Lasagna Night
Sometimes dinner just needs to be easy. No juggling pots of boiling water, no fussing over too many steps—just something hearty and comforting that comes together without much effort. That’s where my no-fuss lasagna comes in.
The secret? No need to precook the noodles. Let the noodles soak up the sauce as they bake, which means no pre-cooking, no sticking together, and one less pan to wash. Pair that with a quick meat sauce made from ground beef and Italian sausage, and you’ve got layers of flavor without layers of work.
I also like to keep the cheese filling simple. A container of ricotta (or cottage cheese if that’s what I have in the fridge), a little egg to hold it together, cheese and a sprinkle of seasoning. Nothing fancy—just enough to make it creamy and rich.
My favorite part about this recipe is that it feels like a Sunday dinner, but I can pull it together on a weeknight. While it bakes, I toss together a quick salad or throw some garlic bread in the oven, and dinner is done. The hardest part is waiting the ten minutes after it comes out of the oven to let it set (trust me, it’s worth the wait so the slices don’t slide apart).
So the next time you’re craving lasagna but don’t want the hassle, remember—you don’t need to pre-cook the noodles, and you don’t need a complicated recipe. Just good ingredients, a little layering, and a lot of cheese.
